our fosters - shilo fostered 03.19.06 - 04.11.06

3.19.06 - This is Shilo. He is a 12 week old sharpei/bull terrier mix. Sharpei ears, bull terrier build and a little bit of the nose. He was rescued from a dirty and confining grain silo in Riverside. He had been subjected to bitter cold, lack of attention and pitiful conditions for approximately 3 weeks when he was pulled. He is completely kissy and lap oriented. He tolerated his bath (maybe the first ever based on the amount of filth that came off of him). He was a little tentative with my Borrego and a lab puppy that was over to play but got braver as the night wore on. He's definitely still a young puppy as he plays for about 30 minutes and then crashes out.
So far, his legs are not nearly long enough for his body, his ears are tight to his head and his little belly is round. At the risk of making him sound odd - he looks a little like a piglet. It's hard to tell at this point what he will look like as an adult. However if he keeps this attentive and people focused personality, he will most certainly be a love.
He has had his first shots and microchip. He will be scheduled for his neuter soon.
4.02.06 - Shilo has been declared by Doug to be his favorite foster. He is super smart and well behaved and constantly happy. He's definitely up there for me as well.
